Data controller
Xylence Analytics LLC, with a registered address at 3006 N Fry Rd Ste 200, Katy, TX 77449-6436, USA ("Xylence", "we", "us") is the data controller of the personal data you provide to us under this Privacy Notice.
Data we collect
Firm/User identification and contact data; your firm's investment activity (thesis, portfolio); and, where applicable, third-party data (founders/startups) you upload, including documents, decks, and interview recordings.
Biometric data
In the founder-evaluation flow, the Platform may process third-party biometric data — voice and facial geometry — derived from video or audio recordings of interviews that your Firm uploads or conducts through the Platform. Under Mexico's LFPDPPP, biometric data is a sensitive personal data category; under the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), it is a special category of data (Art. 9). This data is used only for AI-assisted interview analysis (e.g., voice transcription, communication assessment) and founder-profile enrichment — not for identity-matching facial recognition or any other purpose. Your Firm is responsible for obtaining the interviewee's express consent before uploading their recording to the Platform. Xylence retains this data while your Firm maintains an active account and for up to 12 months after the last related activity, unless your Firm requests earlier deletion by contacting us (see Contact section).
Purposes
Primary: identity and domain verification, operating your portal, AI-assisted analysis of content you upload.
Secondary (opt-out available): product communications, service improvement via aggregated data.
Data sharing
Cloud infrastructure providers (Amazon Web Services), AI model providers (Amazon Bedrock/Anthropic), database and authentication providers (MongoDB Atlas, Auth0), public-data enrichment providers (BrightData, Apollo, Exa, People Data Labs), and, when your Firm enables the WhatsApp conversational channel, Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Cloud API) — all under contractual confidentiality and limited-use obligations.
Your rights
You may access, rectify, cancel, or object to the processing of your personal data, and withdraw consent, by contacting hello@xylence.ai.
